A Thanksgiving luncheon was held on November 22, 2022 to honor the Port employees for their hard work and dedication to the agency and to the community. The challenges of the global pandemic tested the Port’s resolve at a time when half of the world had closed its doors due to COVID-19. While other agencies implemented rotating schedules and even suspended business hours, PAG employees continued to push goods and supplies into the community and remained 100% operational throughout the global crisis.

“On behalf of Dominic and Luis, we would like to Thanksgiving Luncheon thank each employee for your hard work day in and day out to serve our community," said General Manager Rory J. Respicio. "Your willingness to go above and beyond the normal call of duty has helped to make the Port Authority what it is today, a shining example to other government agencies. We wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving and blessings throughout this holiday season.”

Champaco’s Catering prepared the festive lunch buffet and served dinner for the night crew as well, while Matson donated dessert for all to enjoy.
